Whew, now that the announcement has officially been made I can talk a little bit about it. Matt ,Amy and the family are very excited about the specials. If you have read my other posts about this you will know that TLC and the Roloff’s have been in discussions since before they ended the series last year. Their return to LPBW was always in the plans, it was just how they would return that needed some working out. Matt and Amy are very appreciative of TLC’s generosity in helping them maintain some space that strikes a perfect balance with the family and the limited number of planned updates. Because of the non-disclosure there will be things that I’m just not able to speak about, but my plan is to keep some goodies and tid bits away ‘in the vault’ and publish them when appropriate.

The specials are great but what do we have to do to get more? Love watching the Roloff's.
ReplyDeleteAwesome news, just look at all the people on here and on facebook that you have made happy. Miss you guys and love your family. I agree that 4 is not enough, but I can,t wait for October. Your my favorite family. Hugs to all of you.
ReplyDeleteGood for the Roloffs and good for us fans, too. I think the family needed some breathing room. Having fewer episodes will allow them to have that space while still "being there" for the rest of us. The show always looked so natural--more so than any reality show I've seen--but apparently it was a lot of work to pull off, from what the family has said in the recent past.
ReplyDeleteFor those of us still following the Roloffs on Facebook and through Amy's charity foundation, we have been keeping up, but it will be really nice to turn on TLC and see the entire family once again. Thanks for the update!
yay so happy
ReplyDeleteOMG can't believe the Roloff's are coming back to TLC! I just posted to my fb page & followed up w/this link. Yay can't wait for Oct.
ReplyDeleteTotally Understandable...I had a feeling...They all looked burned out and tired..sounds like Jake was having a rough go of it for a while but has since settled down...Jr.high age is hard enough and when you have camera's in your face it makes it all the harder...Im glad they have set some boundries...Like I mentioned I had a feeling they just needed some privacy and time alone...Matt, Amy, and the kid's Im with ya..thinking about you guys and support ya on what ever you decide...
